Behind AGAIN !!!!

I have had so much going on that it has been hard for me to find time to get alot of blogging done..... but next week looks like like I should have some time to sit down and try to catch up. So check back soon !!!!! There has been ALOT of fun things happening in our lives and I can't wait to post them. Everyone have a FUN 4th of July.

Memorial week get away !!!

We have been members of "World Mark " for about 5 years and we love to go on vacations and stay in the condos. We decided to go down to St.George for a little vacation. We invited my Parents, Ashley,David, Cru & Rhyan to come with us. We got the penthouse suite, it has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so it worked out really well for all of us. My mom, Rhyan & Hudson left on Thursday, May21st and the rest came down on Friday. The first night that we got there we did a little shopping and then to the pizzaria to eat... and that is when we noticed that Hudson was starting to not feel so good. He would not eat anything and all that he had to eat that day was a few corn chips and alot of milk. So we went back to the condo and by 9:45pm he had a temp. of 102.5 so I called a few of my friends that are nurses and they told me what I needed to do for him. what a LONG night he was up alot just crying. The next morning he seemed better so we headed out and by 5:30pm he started getting another fever, I was just glad that Kevin was going to be there soon. And that night he still didn't do real well so the next morning we took him to a clinic and there was nothing wrong with him . WOW I couldn't believe that he was fine. So then we could enjoy the rest of our time in St. George.

We went to "Players" to eat one night it was really good, can you tell that Hudson & Cru did not want to sit and get their picture taken.

Grandma, Hudson & Cru playing with bubbles on the deck of the condo.One of my friends from high School lives in Washington county in St. George, so we went over to visit with her and her family for a little bit on Sunday, it was good to see her and her family and catch up. Poor little Hudson taking a rest, trying to get better.
Out in the court yard playing on the swings.Kevin and Hudson got out of the heat for a little bit and went to the arcade, Kennedy and I went to go get them but Hudson wanted to drive ... and Kennedy started to not feel really good, as you can tell.I just love my kids!!!!!!Grandma took us all out for ice cream. YUMMY!!! Thanks It was really fun to get away for a few days and just hang out with my family. I am glad that they were able to come with us.

Megon's Bridal shower

I had a Bridal shower for my little Sister-in-law ( Kevin's sister) Megon. We had lots of good food,I made fruit salsa w/ cinnamon sugar chips, rolls, crackers & hummus , yellow m&ms, my mother-in -law made her YUMMY potato salad , and two of my sister-in-laws brought a vegetable tray and the other made a pasta salad. And my wonderful and talented neighbor Angie Holtry gave me her cookie recipe and showed me how to make these YUMMY & DARLING cookies. ( THANKS Angie )

This is Megon , the Beautiful bride. I had alot of fun putting the shower together...even though I get a little stressed out about having everything just so, I really do enjoy doing these kind of things.

Today we took the kids to see 'UP' . this was Hudson's 1st movie at the theater... he was really good. About 3/4th of the way through he was getting a little wrestles and wanted to stand up. But most of the time he just sat on our laps and ate ALOT of popcorn. It was a cute movie and we all had a good time. Our plans for the day were to go the the new Syracuse park to fish and have lunch... but the rain was so on and off that we just decided to do something inside. So maybe next week we can go to the park.

Kennedy's SWEET 16 party

That is CUTE Parker... he was eating when I told him to turn around oops , SORRY Parker! ( Kennedy REALLY likes Parker )This is Kennedy and my nephews playing with the "stretchy thing" , I don't think that I took a picture at Kennedy's party with her friends, but i wanted everyone to see what the " stretchy thing" was!!!

Kennedy had a b-day party with her friends, they had a B-B-Q, played with the stretchy thing ( 4 people get inside and run back and forth and bounce back) and they were throwing gummy bears to each other some on the deck and the others on the grass... we had gummy bears EVERYWHERE !!! They had a good time, then came time for the cake... Kennedy was a little embarrassed but I think that she really liked the cake, it was a picture of her on the 1st day of kindergarten, it is my favorite picture of her. Then after she blew out the candles and we cut up the cake 2 of the boys came and asked if they could take some of it and smash it in her face, and I said that I was all for that. It was so funny, she kept saying " I think they broke my nose". She has some really fun friends , they all had a lot of fun. It was nice for Kevin and I to put some faces with all of the names.

Kennedy's SWEET 16th !!!

I took 16 balloons to Kennedy at her school, she said that she was devastated...but I know that she really liked it. Then I took her to get her 1st pedicure, she really enjoyed that. i wanted to make her 16th b-day memorable for her to always remember. I hope that you had a good day.

Kennedy's 16th birthday was Thursday May 14th 2009. That night we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner and she wanted to go to Tepanyaki, ( I told her that we would take her to the Roof, but it is to nice of a place to take Hudson so she said that she wanted to go to a place that he could come with us, what a loving big sister). We got her a purple camera and a case, GUM , tickets to the stadium of fire for July 4th, the Jonas Brothers are going to be there and Kevin is excited because Glen Beck will be there also, so those two can't wait ! And we gave her a Ed Hardy note book and Hudson gave her a Jonas Brothers poster. She said that she loved every thing we got her. Oh and you can't see it very well but I also got her a figure of a dancing girl and the shirt that she is wearing.







Both Kennedy and Hudson love the little show that they put on while cooking you food. We had a really fun night. I still can't believe that my little Angel is 16. We love you Kennedy

Miss Domestic...

For Youth Conference this year they are doing it as a Stake, and are going to be reinacting The Book of Mormon. They will have to dress the part so they all have to make their own costumes to wear. Some of the kids are not to excited about the whole thing, but once they are there and experiencing it all they will end up loving it. YUMMY YUMMY CUPCAKES !!!!!!!!!

There are two sisters in my ward that have started a cupcake business called ' WHIMSY '. Their cupcakes are so cute and YUMMY !!! They were having a drawing and I WON !!! I got to pick 6 JUMBO cupcakes.

I picked, Lemon Drop, Strawberry Shortcake, Death by Chocolate, Creamsicle, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Pink-a-Licious. Kennedy and i cut them all in half so that we could try them all. ( We were little Pigs HA ! HA ! ) So if you want some yummy Cupcakes for any occasion give them a call. There are alot more flavors to choose from. Thanks alot Jennifer & Kalani .

Kennedy's Recital

This was Kennedy's last dance recital till next year. We love to watch her dance but a little break will be nice . She just tried out for the Comp. team again and made the Sr. Show Team. WAY TO GO KENNEDY !!!!!! The drill team at her school wants her to try out but she would rather do her Dance Comp. team, she has a really good time with all of the girls and coaches. Mothers Day 2009

Real Mothers don't eat quiche;
they don't have time to make it. Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sand box. Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids. Real Mothers know that play dough doesn't come out of carpets. Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up. Real Mothers sometimes ask 'WHY ME ?' and get their answer when a little voice says, 'Because I LOVE you best...' Real Mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade... It is marked by the progression of MOMMY to MOM to MOTHER... I LOVE being a MOM, I was lucky enough to have such quality time with Kennedy while she was growing up... even though it was tough at times... I would never change that, she was my best friend and always there when I needed a hug and a kiss. Thank you so much Kennedy for all of the fun memories and can't wait for all of the others to make with you. I love you with all my Heart and I am very proud to say that I am you Mom. And there is my other little joy... Hudson is going to keep me young. He is always on the go ! I waited SO long for him and don't know what I did without him. He makes me laugh ALL of the time. He has such a sweet little spirit. I am looking forward to all of the fun memories I get to make with him. Being a Mom is the best and most wonderful thing. I love my kids so much and would do ANYTHING for them. I love you both , and thanks for such a wonderful Mothers Day !!!! And also THANK YOU to my Wonderful husband, You also made my day very special. Thanks all of you for the flowers, cards, perfume and the wonderful breakfast. You guys are more than anyone could ask for .
