Girls Camp 2009

Errand of AngelsThis year for girls camp it revolved around " ANGELS" They did some service, had a spiritual walk before Testimony night, they had journals that they had made , to log in every day and put pictures in, rock climbing , rafting and secret sisters. I only was able to go up 2 of the days and I am so glad that I was able to be there with these wonderful girls and leaders. I have enjoyed this calling as the secretary so much. I started out with 1 daughter and have gained so many more over the last two years. Each girl has such a special place in my heart, I want the best for each of them. They all got along so good at camp and included everyone. We had a non-member up with us and they were so great to her... I hope that she left with a wonderful feeling and would want to come back.

Testimony night, WOW what a very spiritual night. It is really hard for me to get up in front of bigger crowds and talk but every year there is such a wonderful feeling that comes over me and I can't hold it in. And I think it is the same for some of the girls and they all got up and bore their testimony. I wouldn't miss that night for anything.

And a HUG thank you to Molley & Audrey Chugg for all of their time and hard work that they put into making this so amazing for the girls. Kennedy told me that this was her favorite girls camp. So Thank you again!!!

Kennedy's date

Kennedy has finally turned 16 and the dating has started !!!!! She went on a date with this boy but he got really weird on her and she said that it wasn't like her first date because the only got ice cream and went to his house and watched a movie. So she is saying that Parker ( the one in this picture ) was her 1st date (and it was his ) We just LOVE Parker , He can sing, wants to go on a mission , is a student body officer, is very polite and is just an all around good kid, what else could a Mom want for her only daughter to date. He has been a friend of Kennedy's since the middle of 10th grade, and he has come over to our house a lot and hung out, so it was so nice to know the boy that she was going out with. She had a lot of fun with the group that they went with. Dinner and went to Toads then came and hung out at our house after. Just keep choosing GOOD boys to go out with Kennedy ;)Look how cute... they match

How sweet

Hudson got this monkey from my Mom for Christmas and he LOVES it, when he lays down for a nap or bed time he has to give the monkey a hug and a kiss and then has me give it a kiss. I went to check on him one day while he was taking a nap and this is what I found.... he was holding the monkeys hand... How sweet .

Pool time.

My parents have a swimming pool, they had it put in when I was in 6th grade, so I grew up with swimming all summer long. Now it is fun to take my kids over and swim. They are both fish and LOVE to go to Grandma & Grandpa's to swim with friends and cousins.

Birthday B.B.Q. with my family

Every year on our b-day my Mom has a dinner for us.. This year we had it at my Sister Ashley's house. That weekend was West Haven Days so after we ate and played a game we sat in her back yard around the fire pit and watched the fire works. The little kids loved playing on the play set and the bigger kids played basket ball and hit some t-ball. Thanks David & Ashley for having us all over.

Happy Birthday to me !!!!

I had my 39th birthday on June 24thWe went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory ( I LOVE the cheesecake carrot cake YUMMY !!!! ) Our sweet waitress brought this out to me and said that I had to make a wish and blow out the candle. After we ate we went over to Nordstrom and I got to SHOP !!!!! It couldn't get any better a wonderful dessert , being with my wonderful family and shopping.

Well that week we had all had the yukky flu, it started with Hudson then I got it and then Kennedy & Kevin got it at the same time, they were both such good sports and said that they still wanted to go to dinner , Kev didn't eat and Kennedy only had a few bites. It made me feel sad , I didn't think that they were that sick. On the way home Kevin had to have me drive and he feel asleep....

and so did Kennedy, she even brought a pillow with her. ( she is going to be SO MAD that I put this picture up , but it is way to funny not to ) So Hudson and I were talking and singing together .


My wonderful husband got me a wii and wii fit for my b-day, I have wanted to get it for a while ,so THANK YOU Kevin !!! And I got to go and get some new cloths at Nordstrom. Thanks again for another great b-day. I am so sorry that you two didn't feel so good.

Fathers Day with our Familys

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Kevin you are such a WONDERFUL Dad. Our kids could not ask for more. I hope that you had a great fathers day. Kennedy made Kev some cinnamon rolls for breakfast , we went to church then came home and went to my parents for a B.B.Q. and then went over to Kevin's parents. The kids gave their Dad a shirt , picture frame with pictures of Kevin and the kids, Hudson colored him a picture . Thanks for all that you do for our family, we LOVE you very much.

MORE Mess

I am trying to get caught up and do things in order, but I had to put this one with the other "little messes" that Hudson makes. He decided that before I got him in the tub the other morning that he would take toilet paper and put it in the toilet and then take it out and THROW it all over the bathroom.

It got on the floor, the shower curtain, the wall and on the mirror. He was having alot of fun and got really mad when I made him stop. I know that someday I will look back on all of this and laugh and maybe even miss it, but for now.... WOW he is so very busy and really keeps me going. But we sure do love him.

OH HUDDY !!!

Well this is what happens when I try to blog when Hudson is awake... he dumps his mac & cheese on his head and all over the floor....and wears the bowl as a hat. It sure is a good thing that you are cute Hudson.

ANOTHER mess made by Hudson

Well my sweet little Hudson just loves to make messes for me to clean up. His box of crackers were on the counter and he decided to climb up and help himself, if he can't reach to the bottom of the box he just dumps them out. He dumped them ALL over the floor and the counter, so AGAIN another mess for Mommy to clean up!!! He is so very proud of the mess that he made.

This was a few months ago, we went on our first family bike ride of the season. Hudson got a new helmet and was so excited to go for a ride, even though his face does not show it.Hudson, Kennedy and Kevin all ready to head off .

Now that face is a little happier, I just think that he was not quite sure what to expect.

SILLY Hudson

The last few months Hudson has LOVED putting on other peoples shoes. Even his own, every morning he goes to his closet and gets out a pair of shoes and wants them on. This time he had on my shoes, they have a little heel on them and I could hear him clomping down the hall.That same day he tangled himself in his toy, I turned him up side down to show how stuck he was.... he was just laughing. Our Silly little Hudson always has us laughing. We love you bug.

Kennedy off to EFY

On June 1st i took Kennedy and her friend Morgan down to BYU for EFY. they were so excited, this was Morgans 1st time and Kennedy's second year. This is them unpacking in the dorms.Hudson with his " CRAZY " face
I LOVE this picture, Hudson was a little upset that we were leaving Kennedy, he just kept yelling "D" ( that is what he calls her ) across the street when we were leaving. They love each other so much.
