Enjoying the SUN !!!

It was such a nice day on Tue. that the kids & I sat out on the lawn. Hudson went over by the waterfall and was looking at the rocks and then he went in a little closer to see the water and then he finally just sat down and was playing with the rocks and was so fascinated by all of the water running off of the rocks, so I just left him there to play. Kennedy & I sat and laughed at how cute he was being. He really is ALL boy.

SAVING $$$

I have to post this for myself ,I started doing the " Grocery Smarts " and I was so excited that I got such a good deal on these things today. I only spent $11.40 and got the Quaker snacks for FREE !!! I saved $ 26.17 YEAH!!!! Kennedy laughed at me , but Kevin was excited that I saved us $$$ . If anyone that does not know how this all works, give me a call, because I want everyone that I know to save $ and be this excited about it. Just think of what we can do with all of that saved $. ( Go SHOPPING ) !!!( you can't see but there are 2 bottles of salad dressing )

Tree House FUN !!!!!

On Monday Kennedy and I took Hudson & Cru to the tree house and we meet our friends Ticey and Huttson there. Hudson and Cru had never been before so they had a GREAT time running all around looking at all of the fun things to do. I wanted to take a picture with the boys in the fire truck but Cru was the only one that wanted to sit in it, Hudson wanted to get down and play so he started to cry well that started a chain reaction and little Huttson started to cry, so this was the best picture I could get.Hudson & Huttson

Kennedy was a big help with the boys, I think that she had just as much fun !!! After we went over to get lunch at the pizza place, we had to wait for my sister to come and bring me my spare car key because I locked the other ones in the car and we don't have on*star on our car any more. But we had a fun time and can't wait to go again !

EASTER 2009

Our church starts @ 9:00 AM, so needless to say we didn't have time to see what the Easter Bunny brought. After we got home from church I made the kids get their picture taken.Kennedy & I, I CAN NOT believe that my little Angel is as tall as me, she is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady.



Hudson's little chicken lays eggs...it was so funny to watch Hudson when it would lay the jellybean eggs. We had a really wonderful Easter and it was nice to be able to go to church and to feel the spirit of this wonderful day. I am so very thankful for my family & friends and for the great life that I have.

Easter Egg Hunt

Every year my Mom and Dad do an EASTER EGG HUNT for the kids ( BIG & LITTLE ). My mom does all of the putting together and my Dad will go and help her hide the eggs. The little kids get candy and $$$ in their eggs and us BIG kids get a piece of paper with a # on it and we get to pick and envelope and it had a gift card to go to dinner. Every one has fun running all over my parents yard trying to find all of their eggs ( and my parents yard is big so it takes a while to find them all )
It took Hudson a few times to catch on that he had to pick up the eggs and put them in his bag, but he finally figured out that it was a fun thing .


Kennedy had to leave so my Mom gave her a bag with candy and $$$$ in it before she left. ( We missed having you with us Kennedy )

EASTER BUNNY TRAIL

On Saturday we took Hudson to Lee's grocery store for the Easter bunny trail around the store. He thought that was so great , people putting candy into his basket and Kennedy enjoyed taking him around.When Hudson saw the Easter Bunny he ran right up to him and just stood there,
and then he wanted to give him a HUG !!!

Hudson wanted a balloon so Kennedy took him over to stand in line to get one, thanks for being such a GREAT sister and doing that for him, he sure LOVES his Sister.

Our weekend in Logan

After the concert on Friday night , Kennedy & I got home and packed our things , and all 4 of us headed up to Logan for Kennedy's dance competition at Utah State. We decided to go up that night and stay because Kennedy had to be over to the school at 6:30 am. By the time we got up there found our hotel and got all settled and into bed it was almost 3:00am ( the kids got to sleep before that ). At 5:30 am I got up to help Kennedy do her hair and makeup, I was SO tired that I stayed with Hudson and Kevin took Kennedy and stayed to watched her perform. When Kevin got back him and Hudson took a little nap while I got ready. We went back over to see Kennedy for a little bit , then we took Hudson to Willow Park to see some animals and walk around an play on the slide.Hudson loved seeing the Swans and feeding them.
He even tried climbing the fence to try and see them better ( he is ALL little boy !!! )


We saw some really cool pheasants , they were so colorful, I had to take this picture to show my Dad.


Hudson was sick of riding in the stroller and wanted to push it with Dad.



Hudson has such a fun time going down the slide, we can't get him off , he just keeps wanting to go again & again.







After the park we went over to Gossners , we got some squeaky cheese & some little flavored milks, this is Hudson not letting go of his strawberry milk, can you tell just how much he likes it !

Then we went back to watch Kennedy do her last dance of the day, she did really good.

By the time Kennedy was all done dancing we were all so tired and hungry so we went to eat and then back up to campus to get some ice cream. The awards were not until 10:30 pm so we all went back to take a little rest, well Kevin woke me up around 10:00 and then I tried to wake up Kennedy so that her and I could go back to the school, I told her it was time to get up and she just kept telling me that she was to tired and didn't want to go, so I went back to sleep. In the morning she said " how come you never woke me up last night "? We told her that we tried but she doesn't even remember. So we missed the awards. Her dance team got 2nd on the hip hop and 3rd on the other dance. She was hoping that they would have done better but I think that they did good. So we got up and headed for home, in the snow, not a fun ride home. It was good just to get away for a few nights and spend some time together.

Girls night out !

On March 27th Kennedy & I went with our friends, Cynthia, Brittanie & Jayden to the David Archuleta concert. First we went to eat in Salt Lake at the Spaghetti Factory, YUMMY !!!Kennedy & Brittanie out side of the E Center, just look at those HUGE smiles on their faces,it was Britt's 1st concert.

Kennedy, Me, Jayden,Brittanie & Cynthia. We had so much fun, our tickets were split up so the three girls sat together and Cynthia & I were 2 sections over, but a spot light was on the girls at one time and I could see Kennedy and she was just singin & dancin away. I just love when we are able to go and have a "GIRLS NIGHT " I enjoy that time with her.

Cutie David performing, he is so down to earth and just kept on thanking the audience for being there . He put on a good concert.

Park

Two weekends ago there was a day that was finally warm enough to go to the park. So we called Ashley, David, Cru and my mom to come with us. 1st we went to Iggy's to eat and watch some of the college play offs , then went over to Layton park to feed the ducks and play . Well there were so many people that were feeding the ducks that they weren't really eating, but the boys still had fun throughing the bread and popcorn to the ducks.
Then we took the boys over to the play area . Kevin went and put Hudson on the swing and he hated it !!!!! He is like his sister when she was little, she hated anything that would go fast. An Hud is the same way. Me, Hudson, Ashley & Cru going down the slide together.

As you can tell by the look on Hudson's face.... he really didn't like the slide at first, but after a few times of us taking him down he started to like it. The other day we were walking into wal-mart and he saw the slide out side and he was pointing to it and wanted to go and play. So I am hoping that his fear of the play ground is gone.

And this is a picture of my CRAZY mother going across on the glider at the park. Ashley and I were laughing so hard that we almost peed our pants. If you could have only seen her face....way to funny !!!! Another memory made:)

Funny Face

Hudson is into pulling FUNNY faces. We were in the car and i looked back and Hudson just kept this silly look on his face.... it took me a couple of times to capture it because every time we get out the camera he plus his CHEESE face for a picture. You are such a funny little boy, you keep us laughing all of the time.
