After the concert on Friday night , Kennedy & I got home and packed our things , and all 4 of us headed up to Logan for Kennedy's dance competition at Utah State. We decided to go up that night and stay because Kennedy had to be over to the school at 6:30 am. By the time we got up there found our hotel and got all settled and into bed it was almost 3:00am ( the kids got to sleep before that ). At 5:30 am I got up to help Kennedy do her hair and makeup, I was SO tired that I stayed with Hudson and Kevin took Kennedy and stayed to watched her perform. When Kevin got back him and Hudson took a little nap while I got ready. We went back over to see Kennedy for a little bit , then we took Hudson to Willow Park to see some animals and walk around an play on the slide.
Hudson loved seeing the Swans and feeding them.
He even tried climbing the fence to try and see them better ( he is ALL little boy !!! )
We saw some really cool pheasants , they were so colorful, I had to take this picture to show my Dad.
Hudson was sick of riding in the stroller and wanted to push it with Dad.
Hudson has such a fun time going down the slide, we can't get him off , he just keeps wanting to go again & again.
After the park we went over to Gossners , we got some squeaky cheese & some little flavored milks, this is Hudson not letting go of his strawberry milk, can you tell just how much he likes it !
Then we went back to watch Kennedy do her last dance of the day, she did really good.

By the time Kennedy was all done dancing we were all so tired and hungry so we went to eat and then back up to campus to get some ice cream. The awards were not until 10:30 pm so we all went back to take a little rest, well Kevin woke me up around 10:00 and then I tried to wake up Kennedy so that her and I could go back to the school, I told her it was time to get up and she just kept telling me that she was to tired and didn't want to go, so I went back to sleep. In the morning she said " how come you never woke me up last night "? We told her that we tried but she doesn't even remember. So we missed the awards. Her dance team got 2nd on the hip hop and 3rd on the other dance. She was hoping that they would have done better but I think that they did good. So we got up and headed for home, in the snow, not a fun ride home. It was good just to get away for a few nights and spend some time together.

Way to support Grandpa Chugg at Gossners! I love Willow Park, I haven't been there forever! Sounds like you guys had a great time. Tell Kennedy good job on her competition.
Hey my dad sells to Gossners as well - best place around!! Sounds like a fun, but exhausting weekend!!
